The recovery footwear brand OOFOS is opening a limited-run, company-operated store in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.
- What: A directly operated OOFOS pop-up store. Alongside the latest shoes and sandals, it will carry sizes and colorways rarely stocked at regular retailers, with staff on hand for fitting.
- When and where: August 29 (Sat) through September 1 (Tue), 2026 — four days. Shimokitazawa Reload (3-19-20 Kitazawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo).
- About the product: The company says its proprietary OOfoam™ material absorbs 37% more impact than conventional footwear.
After recovery wear settled in, the next frontier is what's on your feet. How you spend the walk home after training or a run has been close to a blank space until now. It is also a category you rarely get to try on, so four days of comparing pairs in person is reason enough to go. Better to check with your own feet than to talk about what it does.
